Part-time Seasonal Research Technician

PART-TIME SEASONAL RESEARCH TECHNICIAN

DUTIES:

• Popping of experimental popcorn varieties 
• Seed packaging, treating, planting, pollinating, note taking, harvest and shelling
• Collection of data in a lab setting including the use of research equipment, popping machine and other various lab-oriented tasks 
• Candidate will pay close attention to detail and maintain a safe and well-organized workspace
• Some use of computer software will be needed but not required (i.e. Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access)
• Able to work in a positive team-oriented environment and promote a positive image of the company and the research department 
• Work in a fast-paced environment where duties may shift seasonally and or willing to work in other departments when needed 

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Drivers License Required
• Work experience in a team-oriented environment
• Positive attitude
