EPA Certified Renovator Training
The EPA has new lead-based paint training requirements for renovation contractors who work on pre-1978 homes and receive compensation for their work. If you disturb more than 6 sq. ft. of a painted surface in any one interior room or 20 sq. ft. on the exterior of a pre-1978 home, then these rules effect you.

Contractors with previous lead-based paint training are not exempt from this new training requirement.
