Retail Sales Clerk

Misko Sports is seeking full time and part-time retail sales clerks to join our team in Ord Nebraska. We carry a vast product assortment for a wide range of sports including football, volleyball, wrestling, basketball, track, baseball and softball. Misko Sports also offers custom screen printing and embroidery services. We recently have moved into team sales in 3 different states and continue to grow. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and detail oriented to join us on our adventure. Duties and Responsibilities • Opening and closing duties Monday through Friday 10am - 5:30pm and an occasional Saturday • Greeting customers as they enter the store and providing exceptional service • Willingness to learn the product to better assist customers with their needs • Working at the point-of-sale counter to process transactions • Assisting customers in locating products by going through the inventory • Entering sales data and customer data into the company database as well as maintaining correct inventory counts • Keeping records of special orders • Monitoring the merchandise and notifying a superior when items need to be reordered • Arranging items such as special sale items to engage customers with appropriate marketing and signing material • Checking in merchandise for team sales as well as retail sales and displaying • Stocking product on the sales floor • Pull inventory to fulfill team sales order • Packing and Shipping product to customers • Rearranging displays and preparing for upcoming seasonal and holiday events • Ability to effectively communicate and appropriately respond to inquiries in person and over the phone • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent • Computer knowledge helpful but will train • Eagerness to learn • Willing to help in all areas • Positive attitude a must To inquire for more details or pick up an application stop in store at 1522 L Street, call 308-728-5261, or request by email - brenda.vanleer@miskosports.com
