Valley County Health System has a full-time position available for a Patient Access Admissions Representative to join our professional and dedicated team?. This position is full-time working 40 hours per week.
JOB SUMMARY: Responsibilities include gathering and entering patient demographic information into the hospital database, answering a multi-line phone system and data entry of charges. Qualified candidates should possess excellent customer service skills, knowledge of multi-line telephone system, strong computer skills, copier, scanner, fax machine and 10-key pad skills. Previous experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred.
REQUIREMENTS: • High school diploma or equivalent • Must have a working knowledge of business office practices. • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills • Independent problem-solving skills and self-directed work experience
