Administrative Office Assistant
Valley County Health System is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Home Health & Hospice team. This position is part-time working 16 hours per week with some flexibility.
JOB SUMMARY: Responsibilities include answering phone calls, demonstrating a courteous attitude • Maintaining records, schedules and files • Generating reports • Verifying insurance eligibility, providing nursing staff support, Maintaining patient confidentiality.
REQUIREMENTS: • Experience with computers (word, excel, etc.) • Office experience is preferred. • Independent problem-solving skills and self-directed work experience • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills • Knowledge of medical terminology is helpful but not required.
