Helpdesk Analyst
?Valley County Health System has a full-time opportunity for a Helpdesk Analyst to assist our Information Systems team on vital IT-related projects.
The scope of the project is to provide effective installation, configuration and operation of PC hardware and software. This position is expected to work 40 hours per week.
This role is responsible for performing the following duties:
· Provision, installs/configures and operates PC system hardware and software.
· Troubleshoots and upgrades computer hardware, software, end-user PC's and peripheral equipment as directed by Systems Admin and CIO.
· Gathers information to document problems, identifies problem causes, defines possible solutions and follows through with problem resolution to ensure an efficient, effective and quality information system.
· Provides basic end-user training.
Skills and Experience:
· Basic-to-Intermediate knowledge non-personal computers running Windows 10 and 11 operating systems.
· ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic computer hardware and networking issues.
· experience with network printers, mapped drives and peripherals.
· must be able to follow instructions and must pay strong attention to detail.
· Previous experience installing and upgrading computers.
· Must be able to safely lift 40lbs on a frequent basis.
Certificates, Licensure, Registrations:
· CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+ certifications are desirable but not required.
