Valley County Health System is currently seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Rehabilitation Services team! This position is part-time and will work 24 hours per week.

JOB SUMMARY:

Provides Physical Therapy assistant services to inpatients and outpatients of the health system.
Maintains documentation.
Coordinates and oversees workload and patient care of the technician positions
Understands and enforces related regulations and laws which govern the performance of the services being provided.
A valid driver’s license is required.
Previous PTA experience is preferred.

REQUIREMENTS: • Current Physical Therapist licensure for the state of Nebraska • Previous outpatient experience preferred but not required • Demonstrated safe and appropriate care within the standards of practice • Independent problem-solving skills and self-directed work experience • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Experience with computers required.
