Mental Health Technician
Valley County Health System is currently seeking a Mental Health Technician to join our dedicated and professional healthcare team. This position will work with the Heritage Program for Seniors working part-time 24 to 32 hours per week. Qualified candidates should possess a desire to work with older adults.
JOB SUMMARY: Duties for this position include performing limited patient care responsibilities, providing patient transportation, conducting vehicle maintenance, assisting clinical team with patient activities, and completing various office operations. Computer experience (word, excel, etc.),
REQUIREMENTS: • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent • Valid Driver's License, as well as, a clear driving record • Current Nurse Aide Licensure is a plus • Experience with computers (word, excel, etc.) • One year experience in healthcare is preferred • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills • Demonstrated leadership skills as well as the ability to work independently.
