Code Enforcement Officer
The City of Ord is seeking applications for a full-time code enforcement officer. The Code Enforcement officer will work closely within the community to protect public health, safety and welfare, enforcing city codes related to animals, parking, food trucks, nuisances including weeds and unlicensed vehicles, and dangerous buildings. The officer will strive to enhance and safeguard the quality of life in our community through education, guidance and enforcement of city codes. Minimum requirements high school diploma or GED, valid NE driver’s license, associate degree in related field preferred but not required, experience related to position also preferred but not required.
