Team Lead Foreman

Hackel Construction, Inc. is seeking to hire a positive, highly motivated team member who will fulfill the role of Team Lead Foreman. This position is responsible for overseeing daily operations on construction worksite to ensure quality workmanship in an efficient manner. 

This role best fits the individual who invests in leadership growth and seeks to work with a team that is continually transforming. Pay is competitive, based on skill and experience, and requires 40-50 hours a week, Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5-6 p.m.

Job Skills Required:

  • In-depth knowledge of construction procedures (framing, finishing, main construction technical skills), equipment and OSH guidelines
  • Facilitate team lead on projects as orchestrated by the Superintendent. 
  • Plan time, energy and actions efficiently
  • Coordinate daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery and personnel
  • Establish priorities for team members of four or more to ensure complete project tasks within established guidelines and time frames
  • Regularly report project status to supervisors
  • Communicate with clarity, comprehension, and effectiveness
  • Performs routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment –report any defects or needed repair and cleans equipment
  • Operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights used in construction and excavation
  • Monitor safety and quality control of each project
 
Job Skills Preferred:
  • Commercial building experience
  • CDL
  • Ability to read drawings and blueprints

  • Good physical condition and stamina
 
Education and Experience:
The team lead position requires a high school diploma, an associate degree in an industry-relevant field like building systems, power technology, equipment operation, construction or carpentry is often preferred.
