Fund Coordinator
Job Description: Valley County Community Foundation Fund Coordinator (Part-Time, 15 Hours/Week)
Location: Ord, NE
Hours:10-15 hours per week
Wage: $15-20/hour
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Coordinator to assist our Fund Advisory Committee (FAC) for up to 15 hours per week. The ideal candidate is proficient in branding and administration of tasks, meets deadlines, exceeds expectations, communicates effectively, and consistently checks for quality control. This person will have the opportunity to learn more about philanthropic community building and may have the opportunity to develop and lead a Valley County community initiative. This role involves the following key responsibilities:
Digital Outreach & Marketing:
1. Create and manage social media presence and outreach.
2. Develop and implement strategies to engage, expand, and monitor our network of donors.
3. Develop and implement procedures for marketing activities.
4. Ensure all marketing processes are efficient.
5. Organize community presentations.
Publications Creation and Management:
1. Develop engaging content for social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram.
2. Coordinate and schedule posts to maintain a consistent online presence.
3. Work with FAC to create high quality presentation materials including cards, manuals, and marketing materials.
4. Create and send bi-annual report to donors and community partners.
FAC Coordination and Communication:
1. Coordinate FAC monthly meetings, work closely with FAC Officers, and streamline FAC processes.
2. Facilitate partnerships with other community organizations.
3. Communicate effectively with FAC to ensure alignment and clarity.
4. Schedule and manage virtual meetings using Zoom.
5. Outreach to schedule key community events.
6. Maintain organized records of marketing activities and donor interactions.
7. Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support FAC.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in marketing, branding, and outreach.
2. Proficiency or willingness to use Microsoft, PowerPoint, Canva, Google Drive, Zoom, Facebook, and other relevant tools.
3. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
5. Ability to meet deadlines and exceed expectations consistently.
6. Proactive in seeking clarification when needed.
7. Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Work Schedule:
1. 10-15 hours per week
2. Ability to attend monthly in person meeting (1st or 2nd Tuesday evening of the month; could attend via Zoom) and occasional virtual meetings as needed.
3. Attend annual Nebraska Community Foundation event held in November of each year
