Ord Community Blood Drive: FFA Challenge

On  Tuesday, July 9^th the Ord Community Blood Drive will take place at the Veteran’s Club from 9-3.  We are having some extra fun at the blood drive and it will be tagged the FFA Challenge, challenging all community members to get out and donate.  The FFA will be serving their famous BBQ sandwiches.  Plains Equipment Group & Ord Equipment have partnered together to sponsor the lunch, generous donations have also been provided by Subway and McDonalds. 

We invite all community members to come down for lunch and check out what donating blood is all about.  You do not have to donate blood to join us for lunch, but encourage you to invite a friend or family member to donate in your place should you not be eligible.  The American Red Cross strongly encourages appointments to ensure all donors are processed as quickly as possible.  Appointments can be made by calling Ashley Hackel at 728-3174. 

In addition, Valley County Hospital will be hosting a blood drive on Thursday July 11^th from 9-3  in their former Rehab Room to support the efforts.  Should community members be unable to attend the regular community drive on Tuesday, please consider attending the hospital blood drive.  Appointments are required and can be made by calling Janet Eppenbach at 728-4397.
