Nebraska Chamber Legislative Forum
The Nebraska Chamber of Commerce & Industry, in cooperation with local chambers across the state, will soon present its annual legislative forums. In total, State Chamber staff will visit 27 Nebraska communities beginning in late August and continuing through November.
For more than three decades, the State Chamber has conducted these legislative forums to gather input from the business community on issues of concern, while providing a review of recent legislation considered by the Nebraska Legislature.
This year’s State Chamber presentation will include a review of:
- Key business-related bills in the 2015 session of the Nebraska Legislature;
- Important issues awaiting the Legislature in 2016; and
- The latest state rankings in areas important to the business community.
State Chamber President Barry Kennedy said: “Job creation and workforce issues, along with the economy, taxes and government regulations, continue to be the most pressing issues facing most Nebraska communities. These forums will give local leaders more insight into the factors helping and hurting our state and its business community.”

The State Chamber is Nebraska’s largest statewide business association and has served as the voice of Nebraska’s business community since 1912.
