An evening workshop offering presentations and guidance on starting a new farming business and successfully managing land transitions. This workshop will include professionally led discussions on how beginning farmers and landowners can connect and partner while offering an hour-long breakout session for each group to tackle specific challenges.
Beginning farmers will receive guidance and resources on access to land and financing, loan options, risk management, and feasibility studies. Current landowners will be presented topics such as estate planning, tax guidance, and transfer management.
Food and refreshments will be provided.
