3rd Annual Ericson Lake Catch and Release Fishing Derby

The fishing derby has been moved up to take advantage of cooler temperatures as well as the major improvement in fishing noted this past year. Since the flood that devastated Ericson Lake in 2010, the Ericson Lake Corporation (501c3) has been diligently working with the NRD, Nebraska Environmental Trust and others to restore the wonderful fishing it once hosted.
Our lake is open to the public and is one of few that hosts two large handicap fishing docks that allow fishing in both Ericson Lake and the Cedar River, which feeds the lake.
