Kevin Cott & the Ghost Chorus at The Golden Husk

Do you love great music and warm hospitality during the Holiday season? If so, join The Golden Husk Theatre for a coffeehouse concert experience on Saturday, December 8th at 7:30 pm! The Husk will welcome Kevin Cott & the Ghost Chorus (formally members of The Franz Family) from the Branson, MO area to the stage for a fun show featuring blues and folk original music, cover songs, gospel standards and holiday themed music. Normal Roasting Company will greet patrons with a selection of their favorite roasted coffees, delicious hot chocolate and specialty toppings for a coffee house experience during the concert!

Kevin Cott & the Ghost Chorus Band boasts four accomplished musicians, each of whom are unique vocalists and songwriters in their own right. Influenced by literature as much as folk and blues music, attentive listeners are likely to catch a generous portion of both in the band’s music. A subtle Shakespearean turn, or folksy homage to the work of Mark Twain, is playfully interwoven within an acoustic sound that stretches as far back as the rhythmic finger picking of Mississippi John Hurt.
