Come for a living reinactment weekend at Fort Hartsuff State Historical Park located 3 miles northwest of Elyria, NE on Fort Ave.
Bring your lawn chairs adn lunch and join us for the day or the whole weekend!
The Surgeon, Blacksmith, Laundress, soldiers and civilians will be actively portraying period activities throughout Fort Hartsuff on August 24-25, 2019. The weekend will be centered around Doc Middleton and the Pony Boys Gang seeking to free their imprisoned leader. "Jail Break" will be on Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 pm each day.
Night Cannon Fire on Saturday at 9:30 pm.
Make hand-dipped candles and handkerchief dolls in the Laundress Quarters and enjoy cold root beer and peanuts free of charge while they last.
