DESCRIPTION:Visit Riverside Physical Therapy for their Business After Hours on Thursday\, March 30 from 5-7 pm. At 6 pm\, they will be sharing a presentation on Postural Restoration\, one of Riverside Physical Therapy's specialties. \n\n\n\nAt Riverside Physical Therapy\, Christy Peterson and Betty Wheeler provide a unique and holistic experience for their patients.  As a Certified Postural Restoration Clinic\, they understand the challenges of relieving pain and dysfunction in a body\, which was not designed symmetrically and therefore\, functions differently on each side. This revolutionary approach utilizes personalized repositioning and breathing techniques along with nontraditional exercises that work quickly to restore an optimal position and environment for muscle relaxation and pain relief.\n\n \n\nPostural Restoration principles are used for patients of any age to control faulty patterns of muscle use that lead to pain and tension in the shoulder\, hip\, back\, knee\, neck\, and foot\, along with symptoms of headaches\, migraines\, dizziness\, and lightheadedness.  \n\n \n\nWe realize how the above symptoms can be related to a poor foot position\, poor vision\, and even abnormal contact of the teeth\, so at times we find it necessary to partner with other specialists to determine the origin of the pain. We specialize in use of foot orthotics and work closely with a podiatrist who understands postural restoration principles. We will soon have technology to adjust foot orthotics immediately in our office.\n\n \n\nBordering the beautiful North Loup River just outside of Ord\, the staff of Riverside Physical Therapy is passionate about providing a fun\, comfortable\, and relaxed environment to help people truly become the best that they can be.
