Cody in Nebraska\, from his days as an Indian scout\, as a hunting guide\, to becoming a celebrity as the creator of "Buffalo Bill's Wild West." The presentation will take place in the enlisted men's barracks at the Fort and will discuss Cody's enduring legacy in the state\, nation\, and world today.\n\nA fifth-generation Nebraskan\, Barnes is a former newspaper reporter and editor\, trustee with the Nebraska State Historical Society\, past chairman of the Nebraska Hall of Fame Commission\, and former marketing director for the Durham Museum.
